Vivian Thomas is the founder and force behind Push A Yute Inc. He studied marketing, worked as an A&R, earned Grammy recognition as an engineer, and built one of the most respected creative ecosystems for Jamaican talent.

Chantelle Lawes
Chant is one of the newest voices in the Push A Yute family — and one of the most magnetic. A dub poet and spoken word artiste, she works in the tradition where word, rhythm and riddim are one thing: when Chant touches a stage, the room goes quiet and stays quiet.
She's also a natural host — warm, quick and in command — holding down live events like Art & Art alongside the rest of the family.
Nothing released yet. That's not a gap — that's the ground floor. Catch her live while you still can say you saw her first.

Simone Dewar
Simone "FruitTree" Dewar is a spoken word poet and author. Jamaica files her under dub poetry — the island's name for the genre — but what Simone really deals in is truth, spoken plain and set against the riddim.
Her single "Pon Yuh Mind" put her voice on the map, the EP "Thoughts Uncut" deepened it, and the link-up "MORE" with Spragga Benz took it wider. Off the stage she writes — her book "Fruits & Truths" and journals live on Amazon — and the press has taken note, from the Jamaica Observer to Kaboom Mag.

Othis Newton
OJ tha Great is a reggae singer and deejay carrying a torch. Son of the yard's musical tradition, he honours his father's reggae legacy while forging a path that's fully his own — roots at the core, edge on the delivery.
Melody and gravel, conscious lyrics and stage command: from studio singles to live shows like Art & Art and The Sound Station, OJ brings the fire either way. His music lives everywhere you stream.

This website is operated by Push A Yute Inc., an artist management, creative production and label company based in Kingston, Jamaica, together with Urban Vine Media. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Push A Yute Inc.

We may suspend access, remove content or decline to respond to enquiries at our discretion.
Submitting the booking form is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking. No performance, appearance or service is agreed, reserved or guaranteed until we have confirmed it in writing and any agreed terms — including fees, deposits, technical requirements and cancellation terms — have been settled between the parties.
Artist availability, fees and terms vary by artist, date, territory and type of engagement. We reserve the right to decline any enquiry without giving a reason.
Where a booking proceeds, it will be governed by a separate written agreement between you and Push A Yute Inc. and/or the relevant artist. In the event of any conflict between that agreement and these Terms, the booking agreement takes precedence.
If you submit yourself, your act, your music, links or other material to us through the "I'm an artiste / act" form, you confirm that:
We are under no obligation to respond to, review, sign, represent or work with anyone who submits material. We receive a high volume of submissions and cannot guarantee a reply.
Please do not send us confidential information or unreleased material you are not comfortable sharing. Submitting material to us does not create a management, representation, employment, partnership or confidential relationship, and does not entitle you to any payment. We may separately be developing or working on ideas, artists or projects that resemble what you send us, and nothing in your submission restricts our right to do so.
You keep ownership of your material. You grant us permission only to receive, store and internally review it for the purpose of assessing your submission.
All content on this site — including the Push A Yute name and logo, the Art & Art branding, text, layout, design, photographs, artwork, recordings and audio — is owned by Push A Yute Inc., our artists, or our partners and licensors, and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other laws.
Artist names, images, likenesses, music and press coverage remain the property of their respective owners. Photographs on this site may be credited to third-party photographers. Nothing on this site grants you any licence to use that material.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, perform, sync or otherwise use any content from this site commercially without prior written permission.
This site features music by artists on our roster, including "Pon Yuh Mind" by Simone FruitTree Dewar. Audio plays only when you choose to start it. It is provided for listening on this site alone — it may not be downloaded, recorded, redistributed, sampled or used in any other work.
This site links to and embeds content from third-party platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, Audiomack, YouTube, SoundCloud, Instagram, TikTok, Threads, Facebook, Amazon and various news publications.
We do not control those platforms and are not responsible for their content, availability, terms or privacy practices. Following a link means you leave our site and their terms apply.
The Push A Yute shop is coming soon and is not yet operating. No products are currently offered for sale, no orders can be placed and no payments are taken through this site. Separate terms covering sales, shipping, returns and refunds will be published before the shop opens.
We aim to keep this site accurate and available, but we provide it on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Event dates, line-ups, venues, releases and roster information can change. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Push A Yute Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, opportunity or goodwill, arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content.

We only collect information you type into our forms and send to us.
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information — such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — in server logs, for security and to keep the site running. We do not use this to identify you personally.
Some content on this site is embedded from third parties (for example Spotify players and web fonts). When those load, the third party may receive your IP address and set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. We have no control over that.

Our lawful basis is your consent (you chose to contact us) and our legitimate interest in running and growing our business. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list from a booking enquiry or a submission.

We keep enquiries and submissions for as long as we need them for the purpose they were sent — usually while we are in contact with you, and afterwards for our business records. Where a booking goes ahead, we keep the related records for as long as required for legal, tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
The site is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection and we take reasonable steps to protect the information you send us. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send us sensitive personal information through the forms.
Under Jamaica's Data Protection Act, and equivalent laws that may apply where you live, you have the right to:
